Cashton Farm Supply, Ltd is the Feed Mill and Administrative and has been in business since 1984. The business is focused on organic feed manufacturing and distribution (since 1997) with 70% of our sales in Wisconsin. CFS also has organic custom pullet raising, poultry equipment sales, organic seed cleaning and sales. Our focused trade area is within 100 miles of Cashton, WI with a scattering of customers from Gonzales,TX to Steinbach, Manitoba, Canada. The facilities include the feed mill and the office for administrative operations for all companies.

 

Cashton Farm Supply, Ltd is the leader in the organic feed industry in the state of Wisconsin. In the spring of 1987 we imported our first organic corn from Kansas to Wisconsin to be used in organic dairy feed. Our beginnings were slow in the organic business because the concern was whether or not it was just a fad. 10 years later in 1997 we were certified as an Organic Feed Mill and committed our business to the organic industry. We have earned a great reputation and are recognized as leaders in the organic poultry business.

CFS Specialties, Inc. is the grain, fertilizer and packaging part of CFS and was founded in 1996. The grain portion is a Wisconsin state licensed grain warehouse and dealer.

The grain facility purchases, dries and stores grain and is exclusively for organic grain storage.

 

The fertilizer business of CFS Specialties blends fertilizer which is sold as bagged or bulk to producers. The emphasis is on organic fertilizer and a line of organic retail lawn and garden fertilizer.

 

CFS Specialties also produces side walk deicer products. Road Crew is the flagship product with two other companion products, Halite Plus and Zap ice melting crystals. The product is blended and marketed in 10, 20, and 50 pound bags as well as 50 lb. boxes. We also do a large amount of custom work for other companies that market and sell their own brand of ice melt products and fertilizers.

 

SUPER SOY, LLC

  

Super Soy, LLC is an organic soybean processing facility located in Brodhead, WI. and was purchased in August 2007. They receive organic soybeans and process them into organic soybean meal and oil that is used in animal feeds. The soybean meal is used in animal feeds and the soybean oil is sold for food and feed use.
